USA vs Brazil in the FINALS

On Sunday at 2pm the USA Men's Soccer team will play Brazil in the finals of the Confederations Cup in South Africa. This is the FIRST finals appearance for the US Men's soccer team in its history. The US got here by beating the defending World Cup Champions and current #1 team in the world. Spain, by a score of 2-0. The US broke Spain's five game streak without allowing a goal and stunned the Spanish all day long. Tim Howard had to be the man of the match as he made some HUGE saves and was about to preserve the clean sheet in goal.

The US already lost to Brazil 3-0 in the group stages of this tournament and looked pretty bad doing so. After a miracle they advance and beat Spain and are now playing with added fire and confidence. I hope Sunday's game is a good one and that the USA can put the pressure on and get a goal early. However, we need to continue and pressure if we do score like we did against Spain. If we sit back like we did against Italy in the earlier stage we will get murdered by the talented and fast Brazilians.

GO USA!!!!
